After the Nigerian Civil War, the nation witnessed a rapid growth in industrial and commercial activities which in turn, prompted an upturn in the construction industry,  United Property Developers Company Limited was formed in 1971 with the aim of developing substantial property investments in Nigeria.  To serve the needs of Lagos State’s growing business community, the company has developed extensive warehousing, residential and office properties.  Building projects include the six storey Folawiyo Chambers at Yaba, the thirteen storey residential apartments complex in Apapa, the 13-floor Yinka Folawiyo Plaza, the group’s head office in Apapa, and a luxury flats development in Keffi and Parkview in highbrow areas of Ikoyi, Lagos
